The City of Newburgh announced on May 11 that its Assessor’s Office at 83 Broadway will be closed for staff training beginning at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12. The office is scheduled to reopen and resume regular business hours the following business day.

The closure is due to internal staff development activities. The city said this temporary closure allows for continued professional growth among its employees while maintaining access to essential services.

During the closure, visitors are encouraged to use the City of Newburgh’s Online Property Records System (PROS) to view and search key real estate and assessment information. PROS, along with additional information and online services from the Assessor’s Office, can be accessed through the city website.

The City of Newburgh thanked residents for their patience and understanding during this period as it supports ongoing staff development.
