Albany Law School issued the following on Dec. 10
A Resilient Fall at Albany Law School

This fall semester was unprecedented, but the Albany Law School community remained engaged, flexible, and resilient.

We adopted new ways of teaching and learning as students and faculty attended classes both in person and remotely. Many have asked what it looks and feels like to attend in-person classes during a pandemic and how Albany Law managed to offer in-person opportunities for students while keeping the community safe. This video gives an inside look, highlighting students and faculty members who joined us in person, many of whom were profoundly grateful to be able to do so. You’ll also see a total makeover of the law school’s gymnasium.

I am proud of our Albany Law community for all the work that went into making this semester successful. (And it isn’t quite over yet; students begin taking final exams next week!)

As we move forward into 2021, we will continue to work to bring our community back to campus safely, both in-person and remotely, providing the rich learning, social, and professional development opportunities that define the Albany Law experience. Even with the experience gained this semester, we don’t know exactly what the spring semester will look like. But given the creativity, resilience, and persistence of our Albany Law faculty, staff, and students, I have no doubt it will be a good one.
